Tampere mayor to unveil 2027 budget proposal on October 19, streamed live
Tampere mayor Ilmari Nurminen will unveil the city's 2027 budget proposal at a public presentation on 19 October.
He will be joined by group CEO Juha Yli‑Rajala and chief financial officer Mikko Koskela to outline the proposal's key elements.
The event will be streamed live on Tampere Channel. Budget materials, such as the budget book, a press release and a recording of the presentation, will be published afterwards on the city's web channels.
The presentation follows earlier coverage of the city's budget process, including the council's finding of a €46.5 million shortfall and committee decisions prioritising school and day‑care construction.
