Mass coordinator Matti Pokkinen from the city notes that this winter has been unusually light from the perspective of the snow reception areas. The season's total remains under 2,000 loads. Last winter, 2024–2025, saw just over 12,000 loads, with roughly half delivered in December after heavy snowfall. Winter 2021–2022 was relatively heavy, with about 36,000 loads. Tampere operates three snow reception areas: Aarikkalan, Ruskon, and Kolmenkulman.
