Three suspects linked to Huittinen burglary as stolen firearms seized in Pirkanmaa

Three people are suspected in a Huittinen house burglary, YLE reports. The midday break-in on 16 September targeted a detached house and several firearms were stolen. Officers later traced the suspects to Pirkanmaa and recovered the weapons during searches.

Police identified the suspected trio as a man in his mid-30s and two people in their twenties. Detective Chief Inspector Juho Rinne, who leads the inquiry, said officers located them through police intelligence and investigative work. The case is being investigated as aggravated theft and a firearms offence. The three were detained during the preliminary investigation but have since been released. Officials are now awaiting the results of technical examinations as the probe continues.
