Van Cliburn winner Aristo Sham will make his Tampere debut with Tampere Filharmonia at Tampere Hall on 18 September 2026.

He has studied at Harvard and The Juilliard School, and has appeared with major orchestras including the London Symphony under Sir Simon Rattle.
The programme forms part of Tampere Filharmonia's 2026–27 season, which highlights choral works, star soloists and special events Tampere Filharmonia’s 2026–27 programme.
On 25 September Tampere Hall hosts another Filharmonia programme: the world premiere of Mary Kouyoumdjian’s Keep Your Eyes Open, a co-commission with the Milwaukee Symphony and Naples Philharmonic that examines power, group psychology and identity. Stephanie Childress conducts; the programme also includes Benjamin Britten’s Les Illuminations, sung by Finnish soprano Marjukka Tepponen, and Igor Stravinsky’s vivid Firebird suite.
