Yard bin collection days change across Pirkanmaa in October

Your yard bin may be emptied on a different day starting in October as Pirkanmaan Jätehuolto adjusts collection days and weeks across the region while new transport partners begin operating. Every container will still be emptied even if the day or week changes. Updated emptying days will appear in the My Waste Management web service from 5 October, transport manager Miia Siukola says, and routes are being tweaked to improve efficiency and cut costs. The company is also switching to low-emission vehicles, with trucks running on renewable diesel or biogas. This follows earlier reporting that collection days across Pirkanmaa could shift in October.
