Avain Asunnot opens 66 rental homes around Pökhölminpuisto in Lamminpää

A new rental apartment building at Suonsivunkatu 22 in Lamminpää has been completed, adding 66 homes to the Nauhatehdas area and locating the green Pökhölminpuisto park at the centre of the block.

The project was built in cooperation with Pohjola Rakennus Oy Suomi. Apartments range from 31 m2 studios to 84.5 m2 family flats. Each home has either a glazed balcony or a private ground-floor yard. The building is rated in the top A energy class.

Architecturally, the block follows Nauhatehdas planning with varied building heights: the tallest structures face Nauhatehtaanraitti, while lower buildings border the sheltered courtyards. The design aims to combine energy efficiency with a leafy shared yard for residents to enjoy.

The Suonsivunkatu project is a fine addition to the Nauhatehdas area, combining everyday convenience, energy efficiency and a green courtyard for residents to enjoy," said Vesa-Pekka Rissa, production manager at Pohjola Rakennus Oy Suomi.

Project manager Timo Husso said the Tampere region is an important growth area for Avain Asunnot. "We have built several new rental sites in Tampere in recent years and more are on the way. It's great to help build the growing city and offer residents new high-quality, comfortable rental homes."

The completion continues Avain Asunnot's recent building activity, following a 57‑unit finish in Kangasala completed in September and earlier plans for 66 homes in Hiedanranta announced in March.
