Buses rerouted around Sorin aukio during Nokia Arena events on 12 September

On 12 September buses will follow temporary detours around Sorin aukio and the University area in Tampere to allow safe movement during events at Nokia Arena.

Lines 6, 7, 8, 40 and 90 will run between the University and Sorin aukio via Tampere highway. Stops Sorin aukio C and D will be omitted on these routes. Lines 7, 8 and 40 will instead serve Sorin aukio F and Sorin aukio G on Hatanpään valtatie, line 6 will start and terminate at Sorin aukio G, and line 90 will use its normal stop at the bus station. Line 12 will begin and end at Sorin aukio G, with Sorin aukio E removed from that route.

Lines 11, 13 and 26 will run from Kyttälä to Ratina via Aleksanterinkatu and return via Suvantokatu. On those lines the stops Kyttälä 0109, Railway Station E and Sorin aukio C and D will be skipped. Temporary stops have been placed on Aleksanterinkatu before Rongankatu and before Otavalankatu. Services toward Kyttälä will use Sorin aukio E (Suvantokatu).

The temporary detours do not appear in the trip planner, Nysse says, but passengers can follow buses on the trip planner map in real time using the Buses and nearby stops function. Check Nysse’s website and the real-time map before setting out for the latest route descriptions and stop information.
