Night-time streetworks in Tampere city centre will force several bus lines onto temporary detours between Thursday night and Friday, affecting services to Sorin aukio (Central Square), Nysse says.
Night-time streetworks in Tampere city centre will force several bus lines onto temporary detours between Thursday night and Friday. The measures affect services heading toward Central Square and nearby stops, Nysse says.
Lines 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 30, 40 and 50 will run on temporary routes while work is underway. Line 12 will operate its final journey to Sorin aukio via Ratina; services toward the south and east will continue on their normal routes. Line 6 will reach the Suvantokatu terminus as usual. Some stops will be closed.
Detours to Central Square are as follows. Lines 2, 7, 8 and 40 from the university will use Kalevantie, Sorinsilta, Vuolteenkatu, Rautatienkatu (stop: Rautatieasema F) and Hämeenkatu. Lines 4, 5, 10, 30 and 50 from Viinikka and Hatanpää will follow Tampereen valtatie, Vuolteenkatu (stop: Sorin aukio C), Rautatienkatu (stop: Rautatieasema F) and Hämeenkatu.
During the closure, the Sorin aukio C (Vuolteenkatu), Sorin aukio F and Koskipuisto C (Hatanpään valtatie) stops will be out of service. The temporary routes will not appear in the route planner or other timetable services because the change is short-lived. Passengers can monitor individual buses on the planner's map using the "Buses and nearby stops on map" feature.
Additional details and a map are available on Nysse's website.
