A car hydroplaned into a lamp post at the Sarankulma junction on Pyhäjärventie early Sunday. Four people inside were uninjured and the vehicle was towed.
A car hydroplaned on Pyhäjärventie and struck a lamp post at the Sarankulma junction in Tampere early Sunday, the Pirkanmaa Rescue Department said, with the first alert coming at 1:38 a.m. The vehicle left the road after losing control on the wet surface and hit the lamp post. Four people were inside. No one was hurt. The car was damaged and had to be towed. Aamulehti reported the incident. The crash followed an earlier run-off on Pyhäjärventie that briefly disrupted traffic in a previous Pyhäjärventie incident.
