Eppu Normaali’s Farewell Set Headlines Tammerfest Opening Weekend
Tammerfest runs 16–18 July 2026 at Ratinanniemi in Tampere, with Eppu Normaali performing a farewell set on Saturday; most ticket categories have sold out.
According to ePressi, Tammerfest runs from Thursday 16 July to Saturday 18 July 2026 at the Ratinanniemi festival park in Tampere. Eppu Normaali will give a farewell Tammerfest performance on Saturday, organisers said.
Headliners include Haloo Helsinki!, Apulanta and VESALA, with KUUMAA, Jenni Vartiainen, Erika Vikman, Robin Packalen, Arttu Wiskari, Benjamin, Samuli Putro, Maija Vilkkumaa, Happoradio, Egotrippi and VIIVI also on the bill across the three days. Organisers highlighted Eppu Normaali’s Saturday set as part of the band's national farewell tour.
Most ticket categories have sold out. Three-day, two-day, Friday and Saturday festival and VIP passes were snapped up; only Thursday festival and VIP tickets remain on sale. "The 2026 programme is a broad slice of the best domestic music and classics. Especially Eppu Normaali’s farewell makes this Tammerfest historic," Tammerfest production manager Jenna Fyhr said. She added the event typically draws large crowds into Tampere’s city centre and boosts the restaurant scene.
Visitors must be at least 18. Tickets are sold through Tiketti and Lippu.fi. The festival takes place at Ratinanniemi festival park, Ratinan rantatie 1, and visitor information, maps and safety guidelines are available on the Tammerfest website.
Earlier coverage noted the band had released limited extra tickets for their Ratina Stadium farewell shows extra Ratina tickets, and those concerts have helped push central Tampere hotels to sell out and raised room rates hotel shortages and price increases.
