The Finnish Floorball Federation is selling an €85,000 VIP box for the men's World Floorball Championship finals at Nokia Arena in Tampere, offering 138 seats for both final-weekend days.
The Finnish Floorball Federation is selling an €85,000 VIP box for the men's World Floorball Championship finals at Nokia Arena in Tampere on December 12–13. The Aurum box holds 138 seats and is offered for the two-day finals programme; that works out to €616 per guest if it sells out, Tamperelainen reports.
Nokia Arena reworked several private boxes to create the single 138-guest suite the arena's merged VIP suites.
The package covers all finals-weekend matches from the semifinals through the medal games and includes catering by NoHo Hospitality Partners and a commemorative souvenir designed by Mauri Kunnas. Guests are promised access to on-field gold celebrations if Finland wins, but standard drink service is limited to an initial cocktail or mocktail.
Kati Voutilainen, the federation's secretary general, said the aim is to give visitors an exceptional, close-up experience of a rare home-tournament finale. Located on Nokia Arena's fourth floor, the Aurum box measures about 210 square metres and is described by the federation as Finland's largest and newest suite.
The full World Floorball Championship runs December 5–13, with finals on December 12–13.
