Feeder Bus 16 on Tram Line 1 Detoured via Lääkärintie Until 25 October

Bus 16, the feeder for Tram Line 1, will be detoured in Tampere from 31 August to 25 October, running via Lääkärintie, Teiskontie and Jaakonmäenkatu because of construction around the Kauppi worksite. The detour follows recent tram construction in Kauppi that earlier this spring reopened the Lääkärinkallionkatu junction as Kauppi tram work shifted east. The stops at Ali‑Huikkaantie, Kuusimäenkatu and Irjalankatu will be closed for the duration. Passengers can still board at several stops, including Kauppi campus C, Hoitokoti (Care Home) and Tenniskeskus (Tennis Centre). Other usable stops are Pokalankatu, Jaakonmäenkatu, Huhmarintie, Huhmarinkatu, Kirjavaisenkatu and Takahuhti. Tamperelainen reported the changes.
