Four Groups Inspect Tampere's Ihala Shoreline on Lepäisten Island Ahead of Auction
Four buyer groups viewed Tampere's 22-hectare Ihala shoreline on Lepäisten island ahead of a December auction, which opens at €385,000.
Four separate groups attended a Friday viewing of Ihala, Tampere's 22-hectare shoreline property on Lepäisten island in the Uusikaupunki archipelago, according to YLE.
Each group included more than one person, though exact numbers were not disclosed. Though used little in recent years, the city has kept the site's cottages and lawns maintained.
Ari Kilpi, Tampere's land acquisitions manager who led the tour, said officials are not yet asking prospective buyers for business plans.
A second viewing is scheduled for late November ahead of an auction that closes in mid-December. The opening price is €385,000. The site is reachable by road and offers extensive shoreline.
