Planners will outline construction phases, upcoming schedules and the specific traffic arrangements planned for Hatanpään valtatie at Bistro Vilja, and they will take residents' questions, Tamperelainen reports. The meeting follows earlier expansions of tram track construction along Hatanpään valtatie that began in April. Recent summer work included junction changes which closed a junction in July and night-time track and overhead-wire installations and involved night-time work to install wires and tracks. Final driving and pedestrian routes along the entire tram line are due to come into use in 2027. Passenger services between Kauppi campus and Ruotula stops and between Sori Square and Partola stops are scheduled to begin in August 2028.
