Kiinteistö‑Tahkola has acquired a small Tampere property-management company, deepening consolidation in the local sector.

Kiinteistö‑Tahkola bought local Isännöinti taloyhtiön etu oy in early October, Aamulehti reports. The deal deepens consolidation in Tampere’s property management sector.

Kiinteistö‑Tahkola Tampere oy has been part of the international PHM Group since June. The group, founded in Finland and now owned by a Norwegian private equity firm, operates across the Nordics, Britain and Switzerland and reported €1.44 billion in revenue in the first half of the year. Its regional holdings include Kotikatu, Pirkanmaan Duo, Pirkan ympäristöpalvelu, HH-kiinteistöpalvelu, Cateva, Valkeakosken Kiinteistöpalvelu and Vammalan Talonmies- ja siivouspalvelu.

Kai Kormilainen, the seller, said in a statement that a small company's resources are not always sufficient to meet the sector's growing demands. Kiinteistö‑Tahkola Tampere reported €6.9 million in revenue last year and an €82,000 loss for the financial year. The deal follows other recent consolidation moves in the field, such as Oiva Isännöinti's summer purchase of Tammer-Isännöinti oy.
