Moonlight Swim and Late Friday Nights at Tampere Outdoor Pool in September
Tampere Outdoor Swimming Pool will stay open later on Fridays throughout September and will host a Moonlight swimming event on 25 September.
The extended September hours follow the pool's May reopening for the summer season when it reopened with extended hours and family events, the City of Tampere says.
On Fridays in September the facility stays open until 10 pm. The trailer sauna is available each Friday from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm and its use is included in the admission fee. The Moonlight swimming evening on 25 September runs from 5 pm to 9 pm, with atmospheric lighting and live music by Matti-Juhani Orpana and Petri Ahjokoski. The sauna will be available from 5:30 pm.
The outdoor swimming season ends on Sunday 27 September. In September the pool is open Monday 12 noon to 7 pm, Tuesday 6:30 am to 7 pm, Wednesday 12 noon to 7 pm, Thursday 6:30 am to 8 pm, Friday 2 pm to 10 pm, Saturday 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday 10 am to 6 pm. Admission ends 1 hour and 15 minutes before closing, and the pools close 30 minutes before the facility.
