More than 300 sellers are expected at the Moro trunk flea market in Tampere's Keskustori on Sunday, 6 September, and organisers are collecting hygiene products for the Food Bank, Aamulehti reports. Students from Tredu's Kangasala campus will bake around 1,100 fresh buns and more than 300 filled rolls for the event. Bakery teacher Tiina Heinonen says the exercise gives students practical experience and is "a nice collaboration" for the market. Sales from the nearby café and sausage stand, together with stall fees, will be donated to the Food Bank.

Visitors are asked to bring hygiene items to a collection point by the Old Church. Food Bank director Tanja Lähteenmäki says these products are among the most requested, and many clients cannot afford them. The market runs 09:00–15:00, with seller arrival and vehicle entry from 07:00–08:00. There will be strict parking and safety rules, a swap-clothes pre-collection, recycling information points, and a Tampere Theatre ticket sale during the day.

The Moro market is one of several market events held at Keskustori. Earlier this year the Tampere Spring Market also returned to the central square in March.
