NBI seeks custody of man in aggravated computer intrusion case

The arrest took place on Sept. 15, a development first reported by local outlet Tamperelainen. Police filed a criminal report on Monday, Sept. 14 and say the alleged offence occurred between August 2025 and the present. The exact charge could change as the investigation proceeds.
Detective Chief Inspector Aku Limnell of the NBI said the preliminary investigation is at an early stage, so detailed information about how events unfolded cannot be provided at this time. Authorities will release more information when it can be done without jeopardising the inquiry. The investigation is ongoing.
