From 1 April 2026 the City of Tampere says residents across the region will have 24/7 digital entrepreneurship guidance combined with access to personal expert support for people planning or starting a business.
The City of Tampere says that from 1 April 2026 residents across the Tampere region will have round-the-clock startup guidance. The new entrepreneurship advice service combines a 24/7 digital guidance platform with access to personal expert support for people considering or starting a business.
Developed with Ensimetri and technical partner Veracell, the service was tested by a wide network of local entrepreneurship organisations and users. Elina Wallin, service director for the city's employment and growth services, says the digital tools let people work on ideas at their own pace and arrive at expert meetings better prepared; she encourages users to give feedback. Marko Lehtimäki, Ensimetri's CEO, says human expertise remains central: clients can submit plans for expert review, book appointments or get phone guidance two days a week.
Users create an account via Suomi.fi authentication to verify residency in the Tampere employment area. The platform offers AI-supported help in common languages and tools to build business plans and calculations, either independently or with AI assistance. Jobseekers registered in the employment area are directed to separate digital entrepreneurship skills training through tamperetyonhakijoille.fi.
