Neighbourhood bar Tullari and Hook wing restaurant to open at Tullikamarin aukio on 9 October

Tullari and Hook will open at Tullikamarin aukio in Tampere on Friday 9 October. The openings follow Bar Passion's closure after 20 years earlier this month; the neighbouring venues plan a shared customer passage and a large joint terrace with a giant screen next summer Tamperelainen reported.

NoHo Partners, which closed Bar Passion in September, says Tullari will combine a neighbourhood bar with live sports broadcasts, darts and other games. "We wanted to build a place that's easy to drop into without any special plans," restaurant manager Dan Cosma said in a press release. Expect darts, a game console and board games. Big screens will show football, ice hockey, darts and Formula racing, and the terrace will be used to follow major summer tournaments. Hook will handle food service, and Tullari will have an age limit of 18 years.
