New Vuorentausta area near Tampere offers 29 plots including townhouse options, Tamperelainen reports.
The 22-hectare plan is designed to be distinctive and small-scale, with space for row houses, apartment buildings, and even first-time detached plots.
The site lies near the Ylöjärvi–Tampere border by Teivaalanharju and includes a new elementary school and daycare as area landmarks. The planners expect around 700 residents and note that the land was largely former farmland, with soil conditions factored into plot pricing.
Plots can be bought or rented, and construction can start this spring. The application period closes on March 31.
