Nysse to close Nella Mobiili app on 22 September, users urged to switch to Nella.fi

The Nella Mobiili app will be shut down on 22 September. Users in the Tampere region are being asked to move travel-card transactions to the Nella.fi web service to avoid disruption.

Customers who have logged into the app can use the same credentials on Nella.fi, which runs in a web browser on a computer, tablet or phone. The web service supports ordering a new Nysse card, loading value, buying season and benefit tickets, checking card balance and setting reminders for expiring tickets.

Nysse says the decision follows persistent development challenges, shortcomings in the app’s accessibility and the absence of features customers had requested. The operator added that the Nysse Mobiili ticket-store app will remain in service and that its development will continue as normal.

Nysse urges regular users of the mobile app to transition to Nella.fi before the 22 September closure to avoid any interruption to ticketing and card management.
