Crews began stormwater works at the junction of Pihlajakatu and Nuolialantie in Härmälä today, and the crossing will be closed to cars, pedestrians and cyclists until the end of October, Tamperelainen says. No traffic will pass through while drainage improvements are carried out. Motorists, pedestrians and cyclists should use the detour via the Nuolialantie–Tuomikuja intersection. The closure follows recent lane shifts and other traffic changes on Nuolialantie related to ongoing tram construction last week's lane shifts and earlier rerouting in the area work on the Härmälänoja bridge.
