The City of Tampere invites residents and local riders to a workshop to help design the remaining skate and BMX features at Heinurinmäki, part of a 2021 master plan.

According to the City of Tampere, the session is part of a master plan approved in 2021 that calls for a ball field, an outdoor gym, a skatepark and a BMX track. The plan’s ball field opened in 2025, and the outdoor gym is scheduled for construction in autumn 2026. Designers now want local riders and residents to shape the remaining skate and BMX features.

Preliminary concept sketches will be presented at Siluetti, the city's urban development presentation space at Hatanpään valtatie 7. Doors open at 16:30. The programme starts with an area introduction at 16:45, followed by a joint ideation session at 17:00. Ideas will be reviewed at 18:00 and the event will close at 18:30.

Planners aim to connect Heinurinmäki to Tampere’s wider skate network and to include a rolling pumptrack that uses the site’s existing slopes and terrain shaping.
