Roope Itälä, Tampere’s 2026 Young Artist, to exhibit at Finlayson's Kutomosalit

Roope Itälä, the 2026 Young Artist of the Year, will exhibit at the Tampere Art Museum’s temporary Kutomosalit halls in the Finlayson factory area from 31 October 2026 to 10 January 2027, Tamperelainen reported. Opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00–18:00. The exhibition will be closed on Independence Day, the day before Christmas Eve, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The move to Kutomosalit is necessary because the main Tampere Art Museum at Pyynikintori is closed for a major renovation that will keep the museum shut for the coming years. The museum’s renovation has already prompted larger events to use Finlayson this year.
