Sanna-Kaisa Palo will replace Tuija Ernamo as the mother in the new film Kyllä isä osaa Espanjassa, which opens in Finnish cinemas on December 25. The casting change was reported by Tamperelainen.

The trailer is out. Ernamo withdrew for health reasons and, in a press release, thanked fans and colleagues, saying she has been part of the Kyllä isä osaa story from the series' start through the films and is wholeheartedly grateful for the memories, colleagues and laughter the project has given her.

Lauri Nurkse directs the third feature in the series, following the hits Kyllä isä osaa and Kyllä isä osaa Lapissa.

The cast still includes Tom Lindholm, Maiju Jokinen, Jarno Jokinen and Vilppu Eleinen. The new film sends the family to Spain after the father decides to pursue his dream of retiring there despite his family's protests. Daughter Jonna worries her parents are becoming senile.

Palo said she felt honoured to join the beloved franchise, praised Ernamo's groundwork for the role and described a warm atmosphere on set. She promised the film delivers the warmth, humour and heart audiences expect.
