Stockmann's Tampere Christmas Windows Feature Whimsical Local Characters

Tampere’s Stockmann department store will unveil its Christmas story windows at 2 p.m. on Saturday 7 November, featuring characters modelled on local shoppers. Themed as a celebration of urban life, this year’s displays lean into playful, whimsical details that reflect current home decoration trends. Stockmann head of brand marketing Anna Airisto says shoppers may recognise “legendary Stockmann ladies and gentlemen” among the figures. Traditionally, Santa Claus will visit the window on opening day to greet visitors. The unveiling is one of several seasonal events in Tampere this month, alongside Koskikeskus’s seasonal pop-ups Koskikeskus pop-ups and the Keskustori Christmas Market Keskustori Christmas Market.
