Tampere's higher education institutions will hold a student wellbeing week from 19–24 October. The citywide programme offers 39 free events across Hervanta and the city campus, including relaxation sessions, baking and a bench‑press contest.

The annual student wellbeing week runs from 19–24 October and features 39 free events across Hervanta and the city campus, from relaxation sessions and baking to a bench-press contest. It follows a busy programme of student events in early September that included Kiskofest and Syysfest earlier student-week events in Tampere.

This year's theme, "hope for the future", is organised by Tampere Student Union Trey and Tamko, the student union of Tampere University of Applied Sciences. Aamulehti lists five low-threshold activities on the programme, including an anti-workshop where students can do nothing productive (Monday 19.10, 13:00–16:00, Hervanta campus PB132 Bildudalur), a dough-therapy baking session (Tuesday 20.10, 12:00–15:00, Hervanta campus Rakennustalo architects' guild room), and a dream-board workshop for mapping short- and long-term goals (Tuesday 20.10, 16:30–18:30, Tampere University city campus Päätalo).

The programme includes a free porridge breakfast with vegan and gluten-free options (Wednesday 21.10, 9:00–11:00, Hervanta campus main building common kitchen PB130A). A social bench-press event will be held at Teekkarisauna: lifts cost €3 for competitors and require pre-registration, while spectators attend for free (Wednesday 21.10, from 17:00, Tekniikankatu 9). The full schedule is available on Trey's website.
