The data also reveals a more relaxed side of group travel: tender details frequently mention bachelor parties, sauna trips and so-called mystery trips where the destination is revealed only during the journey. The operator Jonne Holmén says these kinds of trips have grown in recent years, and that bus travel allows friend groups and work teams to move together without anyone needing to act as the driver. The requests to Tampere come especially from cities in Southern and Central Finland such as Helsinki, Jyväskylä and Turku, while nearby towns in Pirkanmaa also generate many shorter group transfers. The article notes that the number of group trips increased clearly from 2023 to 2025, with growth particularly linked to event trips, company recreation days and excursions by hobby groups.
