Radiokirppis, Tampere’s oldest self-service flea market at Laukontori, has been put up for sale, creating uncertainty for shoppers and long-time stallholders.

Shoppers and sellers at Laukontori face uncertainty after Radiokirppis, Tampere’s oldest self-service flea market, was put up for sale, Aamulehti reports.

The stall at Laukontori has operated for 30 years. Entrepreneur Malla Vuori has run it since spring 2018, when she took over from her mother. The sale listing on business marketplace Yritypörssi.fi says the owner wants to step away from running the operation. Vuori declined to comment on Monday.

She initially returned the business to profit after taking over, but the past two financial years have shown losses. Turnover fell from about €259,000 in 2024 to roughly €213,000 in 2025, and the 2025 result was an approximately €59,000 loss, compared with a €16,000 loss in 2024.
