Horisonttiaukio roadworks to run in phases into spring 2027

Tamperelainen reports crews will carry out curb and stonework, paving and landscaping at the intersection of Paasikivenkatu, Ranta-Tampellan katu and Verstaankatu. Work will proceed in phases, with some stages continuing into spring 2027. VRJ Länsi-Suomi Oy is the contractor, and the contract is estimated at about €230,000, Tampere city says. Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians should take extra care and follow temporary signs and traffic arrangements while the site is active.
