TOAS breaks ground on new student apartment tower in Lapinniemi

TOAS breaks ground on a new student apartment tower in Lapinniemi, Tampere, with completion planned for early summer 2027, Aamulehti reports.

The nine-story building at Rauhaniementie 36 will house 84 apartments, including 60 one-bedroom units and 24 two-bedroom units.

NCC Suomi Oy is constructing the project for the Tampere Student Housing Foundation TOAS, and the company says the investment amounts to 8.3 million euros. The Rauhaniementie site has already hosted two other TOAS student housing blocks completed in 2024 and 2025, marking the continuation of the developer’s expansion in the area.
