YIT to build 36-apartment tower near Tampere center

YIT will start constructing a 36-apartment, nine-story tower on Aspinniemenkatu in Ranta-Tampella, Tampere, with completion planned for December 2026, Aamulehti reports. The project is developed by Asunto Oy Tampereen Näsinsäde and includes 36 units ranging from studios to three-bedroom homes sized 30–82 square meters, with a construction value of over 17 million euros. The apartments are built to A-energy standards, with a rooftop solar system, underfloor heating, and room-specific cooling. Each home features a large glass balcony accessible through a floor-to-ceiling glass door, and large windows flood the interiors with natural light. Mortgage-free prices range from 234,700 to 695,400 euros. The address is about a 10-minute walk from Tampere city center, and the project includes a shared parking hall with EV charging, plus a laundry, a drying room, a communal space and a bicycle maintenance station. The paper adds that YIT has been active in Ranta-Tampella since 2016, and this development marks the latest addition to its local portfolio.
