Nysse will increase tram frequency and update timetables for ten bus routes, reports Tamperelainen.

The most visible change affects tram lines 1 and 3, which will run every six minutes on weekday mornings and at midday. Service will be denser in the morning, with the busiest headway now starting around 7:00 rather than only in the afternoon.

Bus routes 29, 41, 50, 60, 64, 65, 67, 81, 90 and 109 are affected in various ways. Feeder lines 41 and 81 have new schedules to smooth transfers with the trams, while routes 29 and 50 get extra running time that shifts intermediate stop times and delays arrivals by one to five minutes.

Services around Valkeakoski, on lines 60, 64, 65A and 67, see some morning departures moved five to ten minutes later to improve connections. Line 90's morning runs toward Kämmenniemi and Terälahti are adjusted following customer feedback.

School line 109 will have fewer morning trips due to low usage. Some afternoon departures from Hermia to Kaukajärvi are brought forward to guide pupils away from the crowded line 8B toward the dedicated 109 service.
