From Monday 19 October 2026, tram lines 1 and 3 will run every six minutes on weekday mornings and mid-day, and several bus timetables across the network will be adjusted.

The change follows minor timetable tweaks in September to tighten tram and school connections earlier adjustments by Nysse.

The busiest tram interval will start earlier in the day, beginning around 07:00 instead of only in the afternoon. Feeder lines 41 and 81 will have their schedules altered to smooth transfers between trams and buses; other feeder routes remain unchanged.

Bus lines 29 and 50 get extra running time to improve punctuality, shifting some intermediate stop times and delaying arrivals at termini by one to five minutes. On line 29, departures from Lamminpää and Pyynikintori are revised while departures from Ojala remain unchanged.

In Valkeakoski, lines 60, 64, 65A and 67 will see some morning departures moved five to ten minutes later to improve connections. The city of Valkeakoski and Traficom (the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency) plan and organise those services; the city notice has more details.

Several edits to line 90 are based on passenger feedback. Two 90A departures from Tampere, at 06:55 and 07:57, will terminate at Kämmenniemi, and selected Kämmenniemi–Terälahti runs are removed. The 90A departure that used to leave Tampere at 09:10 will start 15 minutes earlier, at 08:55. Two new Kämmenniemi–Tampere departures are introduced at 08:02 and 09:02, while some Terälahti departures are discontinued.

School route 109 will cut several morning runs because of low ridership. Afternoon trips from Hermia to Kaukajärvi are moved earlier to encourage students to use line 109 instead of the overcrowded line 8B.

All timetable changes take effect after the basic education autumn break on Monday 19 October 2026. Updated schedules are already available in the Nysse route planner and other timetable services.
