Applications for Tampere’s annual urban farming plots open 7 April at noon and close 22 April at 23:55; plots range from 20–200 m² and are rented by Tampere 4H Association.
Applications open on Tuesday 7 April at 12:00 noon for annual urban farming plots across Tampere; the deadline is Wednesday 22 April at 23:55. Annual plots are available in seven of the municipality’s 14 plot areas, ranging from 20 to 200 square metres. Rents are low and vary by plot type and the growing season.
The plots are managed and rented by Tampere 4H Association, which handles applications through its form. If demand exceeds supply, plots will be allocated by lottery.
Organic practices are encouraged. Pesticide use is prohibited.
