Tampere-based Kaffa Roastery is rolling out a cherry-flavoured Kili Cascara + Kirsikka energy drink to S Group and Kesko K‑Group stores across Finland this week.

Tampere-based Kaffa Roastery is releasing a new energy drink, Kili Cascara + Kirsikka, to S Group and K‑Group stores across Finland this week, Tamperelainen reports.

The cherry flavour was driven by strong consumer demand on social media, the company says, with thousands of comments requesting it in recent months. CEO Svante Hampf says cherry feels timely. He added that the immediate wide distribution in Finland’s two largest retail groups signals clear retailer interest, and early consumer feedback has raised the company's expectations.

Kili already offers three other flavours, and Kaffa Roastery aims to introduce new flavours roughly twice a year. The launch also coincides with rising retail sales in Pirkanmaa for Kesko’s K‑Group this year Kesko’s Q1 sales in Pirkanmaa.
