Lujatalo to Build 52-Unit Block in Hatanpää for Supportive Housing

Lujatalo will start construction of a 52-apartment block on Boijenkatu in Hatanpää, Tampere, with some units designated as supportive housing for MVH's clients and residents of the Pirkanmaa wellbeing region, Aamulehti reports.

Construction begins in March and the building is slated to be completed in the summer of 2027. Lujatalo notes the project is significant as free-market housing remains slow to recover. The project is developed jointly by MVH-yhtiöt and Lujatalo, with the land leased to Tampereen Pioni and MVH-Asunnot's MVH-Tammi and MVH-Jalava entities. MVH-yhtiö will own and maintain housing for elderly and other special groups, and the site is part of a broader wave of new developments in Hatanpää, where multi-storey and terraced homes with ownership, rental, and housing-ownership options are planned near Pyhäjärvi lake and an arboretum.
