Night trams and buses shift as clocks fall back in Tampere on Sunday
When clocks fall back on Sunday, October 25, Nysse will adjust overnight timetables so services between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m. are covered; some departures will run twice while others are consolidated into single winter-time trips.
When clocks move back from 4:00 to 3:00 on Sunday, October 25, the Nysse network will alter overnight timetables to cover services that run between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m., according to Tamperelainen.
The change follows recent Nysse timetable updates that increased tram frequency on lines 1 and 3 and revised schedules across the network earlier this month.
Tram 3 will run through the night between the city centre and Hervanta. The 3:00–4:00 departures will be operated twice, once on summer time and then again on winter time.
Night bus departures scheduled between 3:00 and 3:59 on lines 4–10, 40, 50, 70 and 80Y will run only once, using their summer time schedules; there will be no additional winter time trips in that first hour. On lines 7 and 30, departures that normally leave at 3:50, 3:55 and 3:58 will be consolidated into a single 4:00 departure under winter time. Otherwise, services return to the regular Sunday morning schedule.
