The Employment and Growth Services office at Pellavatehtaankatu 25 will close permanently on 16 November 2026. A walk-in advice point at Tullintori, Tullikatu 6 (2nd floor), opens on 11 November and a new service point at Kanslerinrinne 1 opens on 1 December 2026, the City of Tampere announced.
Customers who had appointments at Pellavatehtaankatu will be redirected to other service points. Job seekers should check the meeting location printed on their invitation before travelling.
The Tullintori advice point will serve visitors on a first-come, first-served basis and is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. No appointment is needed. Many matters can also be handled by phone: telephone service is available on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 040 801 6581.
International House Tampere will continue walk-in services for international customers at Rautatienkatu 10, 1st floor, on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tampere Ohjaamo provides drop-in help for people under 30 at Hammareninkatu 5 B, 1st floor, weekdays from 12 noon to 4 p.m.
The new Employment and Growth Services site at Kanslerinrinne 1 will occupy the 3rd and 4th floors of the Pinni A building, with its entrance on the Kanslerinrinne side. Pinni A is intended to complement the existing network rather than replace the Pellavatehtaankatu office.
A full list of Tampere service points will take effect on 1 December 2026. Contact information for other municipalities in the Tampere Region Employment Area is available on the City of Tampere website.
