Sunny Weekend and Warmer Temperatures Forecast for Pirkanmaa
Sunny weekend forecast hits Pirkanmaa as Tampere saw temperatures around 9°C on Friday, with Härmälän station recording 5.9°C around 1 p.m. and forecasters, including meteorologist Eevi Silvennoinen, predicting near 9°C later in the day, according to Aamulehti.
The Finnish Meteorological Institute says Friday afternoon marked the day’s highest temperatures, and the mild spell is expected to continue in the near term with similar temperatures forecast for the coming days. The day length will be about 11 hours, with sunrise around 7 am and sunset after 6 pm.
In Tampere the mercury could rise to around 9–9.5°C, echoing Friday’s warmth, while northern Pirkanmaa around Virrat may see nights only a few degrees below zero. Snow depth at the Härmälä measuring point stands at seven centimeters. Meteorologist Paavo Korpela of the Finnish Meteorological Institute notes that the ten-day forecast shows no significant cooling, with temperatures generally higher than normal, and cloud cover remains uncertain as moist air from the Baltic Sea moves north.
Forecast uncertainty persists, as Baltic Sea moisture could bring variable cloudiness and breezy spells. According to Aamulehti, Saturday is expected to be sunny, while Sunday could be cloudier, and forecasters warn that rain could arrive from mid-next week as new data come in.

Monday is expected to bring a western rain system, with daytime temperatures only a few degrees above freezing, according to Aamulehti.
Weekend nights into Monday may dip below freezing, and wet ground could cause surface icing, also noted by Aamulehti.
According to Aamulehti, the weekend sun lit Tampere's landmarks around 3 p.m. Saturday, with the Näsinneula Tower and Väinö Linna Park bathed in light, and crowds along Keskustori and the Pyhäjärvi shoreline enjoying the mild weather.
