According to XPENG, electric automaker XPENG is adding Tampere to its Finnish dealer and service network through Autolähde Oy, bringing its AI-driven P7+ and seven-seat X9 to the city. Test cars arrive in April; customer deliveries are scheduled for summer 2026.
Niko Tillan, XPENG's country manager for Finland responsible for Inchcape’s New Products Distribution, said the expansion aligns with the company's European growth strategy and that launching two new models sharpens the focus on dealer and service development. He described Autolähde Tampere as a natural partner for local sales and aftercare.
Autolähde’s new car sales manager, Niko Kalliolepo, said the retailer’s long experience with electric vehicles makes it a good fit and that early customer interest has been strong. The dealer will handle sales and official servicing in Tampere, following earlier openings in Helsinki and Espoo.
The P7+ is presented as a spacious, AI-focused liftback with a 21-inch head-up display, XPENG’s in-house Turing AI computing architecture and an 800‑volt fast-charging system. It supports peak fast-charging rates of 350 or 446 kW. Battery options are 59.6 or 74.9 kWh, with WLTP ranges of roughly 450–550 km. Trunk volume is 573 litres; total load capacity is up to 1,931 litres.
The X9 measures 5.3 metres, seats seven and offers 94.8 or 110 kWh battery options with a WLTP range up to 615 km. Charging power is quoted at about 537–542 kW. Its interior emphasises modular seating, a flat floor and luxury fittings such as dual-chamber air suspension.
Prices start at €46,990 for the P7+ and €74,990 for the X9, with customer deliveries due during the summer. The company said global deliveries in 2025 topped 429,445 vehicles — roughly double 2024 — with Europe accounting for about half. It now operates in 26 European countries, opened a German R&D centre in 2025 and reported its first profitable quarter in Q4 2025 with a net result of about €49 million.
