Tram line 3 departures at Sorin aukio will alternate between platforms A and B through March–April 2027, Tampereen Ratikka says.
During an exception arrangement, the departure stop for tram line 3 at Sorin aukio will alternate between platforms A and B through March to April 2027, Tampereen Ratikka said. The change follows earlier switch electrification and upgrade work at Sorin aukio and nearby Hatanpään valtatie, which disrupted services during May and June the June switch electrification closure and the Hatanpään valtatie upgrade project.
Trams will arrive at Sorin aukio on either platform. Vehicles bound for Hervanta will depart from the same platform they arrived on. During the busiest service hours, weekdays roughly between 07:00 and 21:00, departures will alternate between A and B. Quieter hours will typically use stop B for both arrival and departure.
Passengers are advised to check the Nysse route planner before travel or consult the electronic displays at the stops. The two platforms are listed as Sorin aukio A (0950) and Sorin aukio B (0951). The next departing tram can be identified by its headlights and the route sign reading '3 Hervanta'.
The operator reminds travellers that marked pedestrian crossings connect the platforms at both ends of the boarding area. Use them if you need to move between stops.
